CLIP Connections are provided in the Instructional Maps.  Literacy strategies should be embedded in instruction, for example,  a Quick Write  or a close read of grade/subject specific text aligned to relevant content . Accountable Talk, Graphic Organizers, Journals, and Critical Thinking/Problem-solving are some examples of CLIP Connections found in the mathematics instructional maps.
