The Professional Learning Zone Wiki The PLS is broken down into 2 sections. Section one is for evaluation purposes. Support for this is provided by HR.

The second section is for PD in the form of a Learning Management System (LMS). The purpose of this wiki is to support the PD side of this application

Logging In

Using Microsoft Single Sign On

The preferred way to access the PLZ is through the SCS Single Sign on page. You can access this page by going to https://myapps.microsoft.com.

Virtual Learning Portal

The second way to sign in is by visiting https://vlp.scsk12.org click on the "Resources" tab and click on the "PLZ Login" Link

Courses

Searching for Courses

Once logged in, you will be directed to the homepage. To access the learning activity search channel, click on Courses.

Basic Search

• In the Course Search channel, enter information for your search then click, Search



• Click Show All to display a list of all available learning opportunities



• A list of all matching learning opportunities displays.
• The course title appears on the left. The course registration button appears on the right.

Advanced Search

A search can be filtered by one or multiple options. To access the Advanced Search click on the "Advanced Search" link.

Narrow your search by using the filtering options provided.

   1. Instructor Led Course - This is the traditional Learning opportunity.
   2. Self-Paced Learning Opportunity - Currently the Self-Paced courses are delivered by Edivate or Moodle.
